Addiction is a disease due to genetic, psychological and social factors and has its own signs and symptoms. It may be due to damage or progressive deterioration of the quality of life of the person, due to the negative consequences of the practice of addictive behavior. Studies show that there are neurochemical changes involved in people with addictive disorders and it is also possible that there bio genetic predisposition to develop these diseases. Some cases of addictions that may be mentioned are psychotropic substances, such as alcohol, nicotine and different types of drugs, gambling, meals or food components, sex, work and cyber addiction. It is very harmful for physical and mental health both but it can be treated.
