A pinch of baking soda

When we have an infection, the vagina changes its pH, which is more acidified than normal. A very easy way, but that requires a certain continuity, is to apply a pinch of powdered sodium bicarbonate directly to the vaginal lips, to go alkalizing the pH again and thus prevent the proliferation and proliferation of harmful bacteria and fungi.

In fact, in general, to wash our intimate area we do not need conventional soaps or gels, as they damage our pH, but we can use those that are natural and organic, made with glycerin or coconut oil, or simply boiled water with a Bit of baking soda.

The garlic remedy

Garlic is the best remedy for combating fungi and parasites, as we have explained in other articles. And although taking it orally we can raise our defenses and treat them from the inside, here we explain a simple and quick way to fight them directly.

We will need a raw and peeled garlic clove, which we will puncture with the aid of a fork or toothpick to remove its nutrients more easily. This garlic should be introduced into the vagina as deep as we can. To be able to remove it more easily we can wrap it in sterile gauze soaking in olive oil, letting the tips of the gauze protrude from the vagina.

This treatment is performed at night before bedtime for three nights in a row.

Vaginal washings

Vaginal washes are performed with the aid of a rubber or silicone pear, similar to those used to make intestinal enemas. In that pear we introduce the liquid or the preparation that we have done, and when we have it ready we will introduce the canula in our vagina, to press the pear and introduce the liquid.

Then we must keep the liquid inside for a few minutes and then expel it in the toilet.

Liquids should always be at warm or ambient temperatures.

What can we do the washing?

Thyme: Thyme is a medicinal plant used in all kinds of infections, as it has antiseptic properties that help us to disinfect any part of our body without altering its pH. We will prepare a very concentrated infusion.

Yogurt and sea water: A combination of two breaths which are also excellent natural medicines; Yogurt and sea water, since the first improves our vaginal flora and the second is a powerful alkalizing and remineralizing. The mixture we will make will be 50% of the natural yogurt with 50% sea water, emulsified until completely mixed.

Non-pasteurized apple vinegar: Vinegar has also been widely used as an old remedy by women, thanks to its cheap price and its ease to get it. Not only does it help us fight pathogens, it also promotes a healthy vaginal flora. But for this must be organic vinegar with “live”, non-pasteurized yeast, which today are not so easy to find. We will mix two tablespoons of vinegar per liter of water.

Supplement of bacterial flora (lactobacillus), that usually we take orally. But we can use those same capsules to empty them into water and have a vaginal wash with them. Your action will be much more direct.

Other tips
